Young Women’s Ministry Steering Group Member

Do you have a heart to serve women in Monaghan?

The YWCA Monaghan Youth and Community Space are recruiting volunteers for their Young Women’s Ministry Steering Group. If you are passionate about developing women’s Christian ministry in Country Monaghan, please fill out the expression of interest form below. In line with YWCA’s ethos, we particularly welcome applications from young women aged 18-35.

About YWCA Monaghan 

The YWCA Monaghan Youth and Community Space (YWCA Monaghan) aims to provide a space where young people and members of the community feel welcome, safe and valued. Our centre is located on the North Road in Monaghan Town and is used by a wide diversity of community and Christian groups on short and long-term basis. YWCA Monaghan is a local branch of YWCA Ireland, a national Christian charity that aims to empower women in their leadership, Christian faith and human rights.

Role of the Steering Group 

The Young Women’s Ministry Steering Group will explore and create ways for the YWCA Monaghan Center to serve the needs of Christian women in Co. Monaghan.  

The steering group will be supported by the YWCA National Office. In addition to taking an active interest in the life of YWCA Monaghan there are also opportunities to become a part of the wider YWCA Movement and community.

The time commitment for this role would be a 2 hour meeting every second month. Further details and role description will be shared pending expressions of interest.
