What is the Outreach Fund?
YWCA Ireland seeks to empower women in Ireland to be engaged, connected and transformed and to lead and affect change through Christ. This vision is not confined to the island of Ireland however and we recognise that as Christians we are also called to be salt and light throughout the world.
The Outreach Fund exists to partially support individuals who are reaching out to show God’s love, by serving others close to home or further afield. Outreach can be in a form of short-term mission trips or other outreach activities within our criteria and ethos.For example on a local level we have covered the costs of sending two children to a summer bible camp and have sponsored the training of a volunteer at the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. We provide support, not only in limited financial terms, but also through prayer and fellowship.
